Thing 15

Using Wiki from the sandbox was interesting. However, I did like the Book Lovers Wiki. I would like to work in the Special Education field in any area but if I had to choose, I would like to work with 6th grade reading. By using the Book Lovers Wiki, my students could post their views of the books we read and comment on their thoughts of their classmates. This might make learning more fun and easier for the students who struggle to discuss openly in the classroom setting.

Thing 14

For go with the flow, I chose to use Mindmeister and Flowchart.com. I enjoyed using Mindmeister over Flowchart. Mindmeister was easy to learn and would not let you make mistakes without correcting you. Mindmeister can be used in so many different settings and for so many different subjects in the school environment. I am a person who likes things easy, and simple to learn, which is why I chose the two charts I did. They appeared to be simple to use and easy to read.

Thing 13

I enjoyed playing around with Zoho Writer. It was easy to learn and made writing from anywhere and from any device a breeze. I could even write from my phone. I also tried Google Doc's. I played around with several of its features, however I prefer the Spreedsheet from the Google Docs. It is easy to learn and was not as frustrating as some of the other features for a non-technology person as myself. I created a spreadsheet for my 6th grade reading class to make it easier and neater for them to document the books they have read over the month. Of the two sites I prefer the Zoho Writer because I feel it would be quicker and easier to work with from anywhere and even from my phone.
